Norwegian Jewel

Across the high seas there is one name that’s synonymous with luxury, entertainment and the best cruises found globally: that name is Norwegian. The Norwegian Cruise Line has been treating guests to a full suite of hospitality and dining options aboard their ships since 1966 when they were first formed outside of Oslo, Norway. In time, the fleet expanded to five ships and in 2000 Star Cruises, the largest Asian cruise provider in the world, purchased the company. Since the purchase, Norwegian has seen unprecedented success and there have been eight huge, new ships brought into the fleet offering the utmost in entertainment and relaxation. “Freestyle cruising” is what Norwegian Cruise Lines has implemented leaving you to pick and choose your activities onboard as well as at any of the destinations that your cruise route will take you.

Norwegian Jewel

Whether you’re the type that needs to work out every morning or you prefer crawling out of bed at or later than 12PM for sunbathing and swimming when you’re on vacation, the Norwegian Jewel has the amenities to suit any style of vacationer. A fitness center featuring all of the most current work out machines can keep you toned through your trip. There is an all ages water park with fun waterslides as well as hot tubs and pools galore. If you’re looking for the social scene aboard the ship, there are bars and lounges where you can catch a drink and even dance the night away in a nightclub environment. For kids there are centers where activities are planned and supervision is always present. If you have older children you can rest assured that they’ll be enjoying their stay, too: disco events are held for teens with non-alcoholic beverages and DJ’s spinning the latest new music for your pre-teen and teens to mingle and dance to. The Norwegian Jewel literally has something for everyone!
